Located between Godley and Joshua along FM 917, just west of the Chisholm Trail Parkway, Silo Mills is an 840-acre master-planned community planned for approximately 2,300 homes. Developed by Terra Manna with the support of Tabernacle Equity Management, the community is helping shape the future of residential living in this growing area of North Texas.
Continued Community Growth
Silo Mills began development in November 2021, with its first phase featuring 262 homesites. Model homes opened in spring 2022, and the community has since recorded 316 home sales, with 275 homes completed and occupied.
As residential development continues across North Texas, Silo Mills represents the growing opportunities in the southwest Fort Worth submarket. The area offers homebuyers access to the greater Fort Worth region while providing a smaller-community setting and a range of home options.
More Homebuilders and Home Options
Silo Mills continues to expand its selection of homes and builders. Bloomfield Homes and Chesmar Homes currently offer available inventory ranging from approximately 1,800 to 4,200 square feet, with prices starting in the $340,000s.
Additional homes are planned from Perry Homes and Taft Homes, with new model homes expected to be completed by early 2027. Perry Homes plans to offer 47 homes on 50-foot homesites, with prices starting in the low $400,000s. Taft Homes plans to offer 45 homes on 60-foot homesites, with prices ranging from $339,000 to the mid-$400,000s.
This expanding builder lineup will bring additional home designs, sizes, and price points to the community.
Infrastructure Supporting Regional Growth
Silo Mills currently offers amenities including a swimming pool and fishing pond, with additional improvements planned for the future.
A proposed amenity expansion is under design and includes a dog park, an additional swimming pool, and a fitness center. Construction is expected to begin in mid-to-late 2027, with the expansion planned for completion in 2028.
These planned additions reflect the continued development of Silo Mills as the community grows.
